DESCRIPTION:Blanca Regina and Steve Beresford have been working together cu
 rating events and performing since 2011. The present a perfromace at the C
 eramic House in Brighton at the cycle  LANDSCAPE : ISLANDS\nIn 2013\, the
 y created Strange Umbrellas - a platform for music\, film and art at vario
 us venues in London. In 2015 they created Unpredictable Series - a series 
 about Free Improvisation\, featuring films\, exhibitions\, performances\, 
 talks\, publications\, and workshops. They curated two exhibitions in Lond
 on: ‘Art of Improvisers’ at Oto Project Space and ‘ The Art of Terry

 o . In June 2016 they will be curating Alterations Festival in Cafe Oto\, 
 London.\nSTEVE BERESFORD \nSteve has been a central figure in the British
  improvising scene for over thirty years\, working with the likes of Derek
  Bailey\, Evan Parker\, Han Bennink\, Christian Marclay and\, of course\, 
 Alterations. \nHis work with Marclay has included mixed media pieces like
  ‘Screen Play’\, ‘Ephemera’\, ‘Graffiti Composition’\, ‘Shuf
 fle’\, ‘Pianorama’ and ‘Everyday’. He has also written songs\, s
 cored feature films\, TV shows and commercials.\nSteve has worked with hun
 dreds of people\, including The Slits\, Stewart Lee\, Ivor Cutler\, Prince
  Far-I\, Alan Hacker\, Ray Davies\, Ilan Volkov\, The Flying Lizards\, Oto
 mo Yoshihide\, The Portsmouth Sinfonia and John Zorn. \nHe has an extensi
 ve discography as performer\, arranger\, composer and producer\, and was w
 as awarded a Paul Hamlyn award for composers in 2012.\nhttp://www.efi.grou
 p.shef.ac.uk/mberes.html\nBLANCA REGINA \nBlanca is an artist\, teacher a
 nd curator based in London. Her research and practice is heterogeneous and
  encompass expanded cinema\, free improvisation\, graphic and moving image
 \, photography and performance art. \nIn 2014 she joined as lecturer the 
 School of Music and Fine Art at the University of Kent. For several years 
 she was a visitining research fellow at the University of the Arts\, Londo
 n\, Chelsea College of Art and Design (2011 to 2014.) \nShe has performed
  with various artists\, including Terry Day\, Leafcutter John\, Beresford 
 and Matthias Kispert and curated a number of events and installations in L
 ondon and internationally. Her last exhibition: ‘Expanded and Ephemera A
 udiovisual’ was presented at MUPO\, Oaxaca\, México in November 2015.
