  Series presents an album launch by LEAFCUTTER JOHN and BLANCA REGINA at I
 KLECTIK on Saturday the 30th of September 2017.\n\nRecorded at Sonic Water
 loo festival at IKLECTIK in July\, the album - 'Miga' - is released by Unp
 redictable\, digitally and in an edition of just 50 on pen drive.\n\nOpeni
 ng the evening at 8.30\, Steve Beresford will play a solo with piano and e
 lectronics.\n\nThe event feature also the sculpture and installation by Ja
 vier Arribas 'White Bird' in collaboration with Blanca Regina.\nThis work 
 looks at the recuperation of the myth in the digital era.\n‘With friends
  you grow wings’ (Rumi).\n\nAt 9pm\, Leafcutter and Regina will perform

 ally studied Painting at Norwich School of Art and Design. His first recor
 dings reached the offices of Planet Mu Records in 1999 where its founder a
 nd Aphex Twin collaborator Mike Paradinas encouraged John’s more experim
 ental efforts. Working with Planet Mu\, John released 3 critically acclaim
 ed albums. John is a key member of Polar Bear\, a twice Mercury Music Priz

 \nBlanca Regina is an artist\, teacher and curator based in London. Her re
 search and practice is heterogeneous\, encompassing expanded cinema\, free
  improvisation\, graphic and moving image\, photography and performance ar
 t. She has performed with many artists\, including Terry Day\, Leafcutter 
 John\, Steve Beresford and Matthias Kispert\, and curated numerous events 
 and installations. Regina and Beresford have presented a series of exhibit
 ions looking at free improvisation and the art of improvisers in London\, 
 engaging audiences with the story of free improvisation in UK and its conn

 itish improvising scene for over thirty years\, working with the likes of 
 Derek Bailey\, Evan Parker\, Han Bennink\, Christian Marclay and Alteratio
 ns. He has an extensive discography as performer\, arranger\, composer and
  producer\, and was was awarded a Paul Hamlyn award for composers in 2012.

 and plastic artist. Bachelor in Arts at the University Complutense of Madr
 id and Doctor in Arts at the University of Valladolid. He is now working a
 s a fine art teacher with an official position the Art Grade and Designin 
 Soria. He has been teacher at the University of Valladolid atthe Art Commu
 nication Department and for the Centro de Formación de Profesores de la J
 cyL. His last proyects include (2011/2013)\; “Anatomical Light” Light 
 directed in transparencies for its later digitalization. Events: “Tierra
