 es\n\nNarrating Structures is a projection mapping workshop led by Dr Blan
 ca Regina and assisted by Pierre Bouvier Patron. Throughout a hands-on wee
 kend workshop\, we introduce projection art\, video mapping and multimedia
  design.\n\nWe will look at diverse techniques for producing audiovisual p
 rojections in architectural spaces and objects and their application in ar
 tistic and creative practice.\n\nThis workshop is for artists\, graphic de
 signers\, architects\, and anybody interested.\nSupported by Garage Cube &
 amp\; MadMapper.\nSuitable for beginners and intermediates\; we adapt to d
 ifferent levels.\n\nPROGRAMME\nThe 2-day workshop is presented in sections
  with hands-on practice.\n\n1st Session &gt\;&gt\; Saturday\n– Introduct
 ion to the mentors and presentation of their work in this field.\n– Stud
 y multiple video mapping projects.\n(Lunch break)\n- Introduction to MadMa
 pper 5\n- Hands-on\n- Projection mapping on different surfaces.\n- Hands-o
 n\n\n2nd Session &gt\;&gt\; Sunday\n- Recap and Questions.\n- Technical sp

 y participants and closing considerations.\n\nAt the end of this workshop 
 you will be able to:\n– Create various projections simultaneously\n– S
 hape light into objects and spaces\n– Learn how to produce your mapping 
 project.\n– Project management and networking with local and internation
 al communities.\n\nTech requirements:\n\nOriented to Mac and Windows users
 .\nBring your computer with a mini display/USB-C to Hdmi port adaptors if 
 you use Mac.\nA Mac laptop with Osx 10.7 is recommended. 10.6 is not suppo
 rted.\n\nThis workshop provides one projector per student and includes a 1
 -month full access temporal license of MadMapper and entitles the particip
 ants to an educational discount on MadMapper software purchases.\n\n** You

 ter) for the workshop please do get in touch.\n\nAbout the mentors:\n\nDr 
 Blanca Regina Pérez-Bustamante is an artist\, independent curator\, and e
 ducator based in London. She is currently creating audiovisual performance
 s\, sound works\, installations\, and films. Her research and practice enc
 ompass video mapping\, sound art\, moving images\, performance\, and multi
 media events.\n\nShe has taught more than 30 video mapping workshops world
 wide including Ugly Duck since 2018 in London. In 2019\, she developed the
  research project ‘ Immersive Pipeline’ at Goldsmiths University\, loo
 king at immersive audiovisual environments and translating artworks to mul
 tiple digital formats. She is the founder of Unpredictable Series and has 
 curated a series of sound and visual art events in London at Cafe OTO\, OT
 O Projects\, Iklectik\, Ray’s Jazz at Foyles\, Waterstones\, and Portlan
 d Hall (CREAM/the University of Westminster). Supporters of our projects i
 nclude Cream\, Crisap\, Sound &amp\; Music\, and Arts Council England.\n\n
 She is currently a lecturer at Ravensbourne University\, London. From 2014
  to 2021 she was an associate lecturer at the Event and Experience Design 
 department at the University of Kent. From 2011-to 2014 she was visiting r
 esearch fellow at Chelsea College of Arts &amp\; Design at the University 
 of the Arts London. In 2010\, she received a doctorate in Humanities from 
 University Rey Juan Carlos\, Madrid\, with the thesis: The VJ and audiovis
 ual performance: towards a radical aesthetic of postmodernism.\n\nwww.whit
 eemotion.com\n\nPierre Bouvier Patron\n\nPierre Bouvier Patron is a visual
  artist based in London. He is currently working with different media\, su
 ch as digital video and film\, exploring the boundaries between them and c
 reating moving image works\, performances\, and installations. He has deve
 loped various practices and skills in experimental film\, documentary film
 s\, music videos\, etc.\n\nHe is involved in video screenings and video pe
 rformances\, solo or in collaboration\, with musicians such as Syd Kemp\, 
 Steve Beresford\, Neil Charles\, and artist Blanca Regina\, among others. 
 His work has been shown in France\, Spain\, the United Kingdom\, Mexico\, 
 Germany\, etc.\n\nHis latest works include Unpredictable: Conversations wi
 th Improvisers\, a series of 12 videos about improvisers in the UK\, and m
 usic videos for Ben Marc. His work also includes extensive participation w
 ith collectives such as Unpredictable Series\, Strange Umbrellas\, and sev
 eral festivals such as Sonic Waterloo\, Art of Improvisers\, and Alteratio
 ns Festivals.
