 n\n‘Narrating Structures’ Videomapping workshop is an intensive worksh
 op led by Dr Blanca Regina. We introduce projection mapping and immersive 
 space design in a hands-on weekend workshop in the centre of London.\nWe w
 ill look at diverse techniques for producing audiovisual projects in archi
 tectural spaces and objects and their application in artistic and creative
  practice.\n\nPROGRAMME\nThe 2-day workshop is presented in sections with 
 hands-on practice.\n\n1st Session &gt\;&gt\; Saturday\n– Introduction to
  the mentors and presentation of their work in this field.\n– Study mult
 iple video mapping projects.\n(Lunch break)\n- Introduction to MadMapper 5
 \n- Hands-on\n- Projection mapping on different surfaces.\n- Hands-on\n\n2
 nd Session &gt\;&gt\; Sunday\n- Recap and Questions.\n- Technical specific
 ations.\n- Syphon and OBS\n- Introduction to Key\, Midi\, and OSC Controls
  with MadMapper.\n- Hands-on\n(Lunch break)\n- Creating content and live t
 echniques for performances\, installations\, and streaming\n- Creation and
  presentation of a specific project.\n- Hands-on\n- Short demos by partici
 pants and closing considerations.\n\nAt the end of this workshop you will 
 be able to:\n– Create various projections simultaneously\n– Shape ligh
 t into objects and spaces\n– Learn how to stream your mapping content in
 to a streaming service.\n– Project management and networking with local 
 and international communities.\n\nThis workshop is for artists\, graphic d
 esigners\, architects\, and anybody interested.\nSupported by Garage Cube 
 &amp\; MadMapper\n\nTech requirements:\n\nThe workshop provides one projec
 tor per student and includes a 1-month full access temporal license of Mad
 Mapper and entitles the participants to an educational discount on MadMapp
 er software purchases.\n\nBring your computer with mini display port adapt
 ors if you use Mac. This workshop is oriented to Mac and PC users. A Mac l
 aptop with Osx 10.7 is recommended. 10.6 is not supported.\nYou can bring

 e workshop please do get in touch.\n\nAbout the mentors\n\nDr Blanca Regin
 a Pérez-Bustamante is an artist\, independent curator\, and educator base
 d in London. She is currently creating audiovisual performances\, sound wo
 rks\, installations\, and films. Her research and practice encompass video
  mapping\, sound art\, moving images\, performance\, and multimedia events
 .\n\nShe has taught more than 30 video mapping workshops worldwide includi
 ng Ugly Duck since 2018 in London. In 2019\, she developed the research pr
 oject ‘ Immersive Pipeline’ at Goldsmiths University\, looking at imme
 rsive audiovisual environments and translating artworks to multiple digita
 l formats. She is the founder of Unpredictable Series and has curated a se
 ries of sound and visual art events in London at Cafe OTO\, OTO Projects\,
  Iklectik\, Ray’s Jazz at Foyles\, Waterstones\, and Portland Hall (CREA
 M/the University of Westminster). Supporters of our projects include Cream
 \, Crisap\, Sound &amp\; Music\, and Arts Council England.\n\nShe is curre
 ntly a lecturer at Ravensbourne University\, London. From 2014 to 2021 she
  was an associate lecturer at the Event and Experience Design department a
 t the University of Kent. From 2011-to 2014 she was visiting research fell
 ow at Chelsea College of Arts &amp\; Design at the University of the Arts 
 London. In 2010\, she received a doctorate in Humanities from University R
 ey Juan Carlos\, Madrid\, with the thesis: The VJ and audiovisual performa
 nce: towards a radical aesthetic of postmodernism.\n\nwww.whiteemotion.com
 \n\nPierre Bouvier Patron\n\nPierre Bouvier Patron is a visual artist base
 d in London. He is currently working with different media\, such as digita
 l video and film\, exploring the boundaries between them and creating movi
 ng image works\, performances\, and installations. He has developed variou
 s practices and skills in experimental film\, documentary films\, music vi
 deos\, etc.\n\nHe is involved in video screenings and video performances\,
  solo or in collaboration\, with musicians such as Syd Kemp\, Steve Beresf
 ord\, Neil Charles\, and artist Blanca Regina\, among others. His work has
  been shown in France\, Spain\, the United Kingdom\, Mexico\, Germany\, et
 c.\n\nHis latest works include Unpredictable: Conversations with Improvise
 rs\, a series of 12 videos about improvisers in the UK\, and music videos 
 for Ben Marc. His work also includes extensive participation with collecti
 ves such as Unpredictable Series\, Strange Umbrellas\, and several festiva
 ls such as Sonic Waterloo\, Art of Improvisers\, and Alterations Festivals
 .
