We will look at diverse techniques for the production of audiovis ual projects in architectural spaces and objects and also its application in artistic and creative practice.\n\nPROGRAMME\nThe 2-day workshop is pre sented in sections with hands-on practice.\n1st Session >\;>\; Saturda y\n– Introduction to the mentor and presentation of their work in this f ield.\n– Study of multiple video mapping projects. Hands-on.\n(half an h our break)\n– Learning multiple techniques and applying them using diffe rent spaces and structures.\n– Introduction to MadMapper 4\n– Hands-on !\n2nd Session >\;>\; Sunday\n– Projection mapping on different surf aces.\n– Creating content and live techniques.\n– Introduction to Mini Mad and DMX light control with MadMapper\n(half an hour break)\n– Creat ion and presentation of a specific group project.\nAt the end of this work shop you will be able to:\n– Create various projections simultaneously\n – Shape light into objects and spaces\n– Project management and networ king with local and international communities.\nThis workshop is for artis ts\, graphic designers\, architects and anybody interested.\n\n\n \;\n \n \;\n\n\nTech requirements:\nBring your computer with mini display p ort adaptors if you use Mac. This workshop is oriented to Mac and PC users . \nA Mac laptop with Osx 10.7 is recommended. 10.6 is not supported.\nYo u can bring also If you have\, midi controller\, projector\, model/shape y ou want to map on\, DMX controller (Artnet\, Enttec or Minimad)\nIf you ne ed to rent any equipment ( computer ) for the workshop please do get in to uch.  \nThis workshop includes a 1-month full access temporal licence of MadMapper and entitles the participants to educational discount in MadMap per software purchase.\n\nMENTOR\nBlanca Regina www.whiteemotion.com\nDr Blanca Regina Pérez-Bustamante is an artist\, curator and educator based in London.\nShe is currently involved in creating audiovisual performances \, sound works\, installations and film. Her research and practice encompa ss video mapping\, sound art\, spontaneous music\, moving image\, performa nce and multimedia events.\n She has taught more than 30 video mapping wo rkshops worldwide. In 2019 she developed a research a 6 months research pr oject ‘ Immersive Pipeline' at Goldsmiths University\, looking at immers ive audiovisual environments and the translation of artworks to multiple d igital formats. She has curated with Unpredictable Series in London a seri es of sound and visual art events in London at Cafe OTO\, OTO Projects\, I klectik\, Ray’s Jazz at Foyles\, Waterstones and Portland Hall (CREAM/ U niversity of Westminster). Supporters of our projects include Cream\, Cris ap\, Sound &\; Music\, and Arts Council England.\nSince 2014 associate lecturer at Event and Experience Design department at the University of Ke nt. From 2011-2014 she was visiting research fellow at Chelsea College of Arts &\; Design at University of the Arts London.
