 analogue techniques. This workshop focuses on techniques for improving cre
 ativity on\nmaking visuals compositions depending in your own skill set. W
 e will show methods on how to\ncreate visuals through multiple processes\,
  analog and digital\, from live visuals to digital\ncompositions and postp
 roduction.\nThe 2 day workshop is divided in:\n1st Session &gt\;&gt\; Satu
 rday 19th of September. From 12.00 until 20:00pm\n\n1- Presentation of the

 on to caffenol developer and demonstrating chemogramming technique with he

  (30 min)\n\n3 - Shadow tools and projection\n\nPractice (1h)\n\n4- Tips o
 n analog and digital composition. (30 min)\n\n5- Introduction to narrativi

 n of a specific group project (2.5 h)\n7 - Presentation of a specific grou
 p project. (40 min)\nOpen discussion\, evaluation of design concepts from 
 a usability perspective\, aesthetics and\nfunctionality. Individual and gr
 oup exercises throughout the day.\nWe will provide educational licences of
  Modul8 supported by Mac and other softwares for PC.\nKnowledge of video\,
  photography\, animation\, softwares like: photoshop/indesign/premiere/aft
 er\neffects is recommended but not essential.\nBring your own laptop\, cam
 eras\, lights\, objects and crafts materials.\nThis workshop is ideal for 
 creatives\, moving image artists\, designers\, students and\nprofessionals
 .\nDuring the workshop we will work with:\n- Animation (traditional\, stop
 motion\, computer animation\, 2d animation.)\n- Video.\n- Photography and 
 16mm film.\n- Lights and projections.\n- Creating visuals with organic mat
 erials (herbs) and developers (caffenol).\n- Photogramming and chemogrammi
 ng techniques.\n- Mix and use caffenol\, a developer made from household p
 roducts.\n- Production of slides\, 16mm film loops\, digital files and liv
 e shadow projections.\n- Layering and manipulating moving images during pr
 ojection.\n- Image production and postproduction tools.\nAbout the mentors
 \nDr. Blanca Regina PérezBustamante  is an educator\, artist and curator
 .\nShe is involved in creating mixed media performances\, installations an
 d film and is currently\nteaching at the School of Fine Arts and Music in 
 the University of Kent.\nHer research and practice encompass expanded cine
 ma\, free improvisation\, moving image\,\nphotography and audiovisual perf
 ormance. She has published various texts and conducted\nseveral workshops 
 and talks internationally focusing on Audiovisual\, New Media and\nPerform
 ance Art (Universidad de Puerto Rico\, University of Canterbury\, Goldsmit
 hs University\,\nFestival Internacional de Cine de las Palmas\, La Creaci
 ón Electrónica\, La Casa Encendida) and\nshe has presented several confe
 rences with AVAcademy in Moscow and St. Petersburg (Russia).\n[embed]https

 makes expanded cinema\, multiscreen\,\nperformative\, crossmedia and parti
 cipatory works. His single screen works and installations are often the\nr
 esult of these processes and collaborations. He has worked together with i
 ndividuals\, groups\nand organisations in many European countries and in I
 ndonesia\, Suriname and the USA. His\nmain interest is to reconnect seemin
 gly implausible links: urban/nature\, music/maths\,\npassion/ratio\, analo
 gue/digital. He lives and works in London.\n\n
