London, join us Friday April 12th at Boundary Condition which features 9+ artists in a hybrid of audiovisual live sets & immersive projections; extreme plunderphonics, sonic archaeology, contemporary folk, unequal temperaments, ritual subjects, visceral subterranean chants, free jazz improv, radiophonic interdisciplinary composition, tape disintegration, anti-ambient, and percussive non-music in a post-industrialist glass factory.
We will be playing at 8.35 pm Abstract Encounters, an audiovisual performance of 40 minutes with Pierre Bouvier that explores symbolic gestures, affinity with nature, and questions about presence, identity, space, improvisation, and its representation in the digital age. This playful performance is as well an
improvisation where Blanca Regina mixes samples from a recording session with viola player Benedict Taylor, pianist and vocalist Art Terry, with her voice, objects and electronics. Pierre will bring his moving light apparatus’s and create mesmerising visuals real-time.
