Linear Obsessional Live returns to the welcoming environs of The ArtsCafe in Manor Park,Lewisham, South London with an audio visual line up of extraordinary and unmissable artists.

ROB FLINT
British experimental film-maker and visual element of London electronic ensemble Ticklish, Flint’s radical work has not been widely seen for many years. Here’s a chance to catch up as he presents some of his new, startling original digital work.

GAGARIN
Gagarin is the long running electronic solo project of Graham Dowdall (a musician with Pere Ubu, Ludus and Nico) who merges synthesis with field recordings, abstract beats, electronics and improvisation. ” Slowly but surely, music of this electronic calibre is wending its way into the public consciousness as more and more people cast their ears skyward and marvel at just what’s out there.”

PETE FLOOD AND RICHARD SANDERSON
An improvised duo by Pete Flood (percussion) and Sanderson (amplified melodeon). For ten years till their recent disolution, Pete Flood was the drummer and arranger with folk behemoth Bellowhead, as well as the producer of an album of wild electronic music for Linear Obsessional (“Mycoworld”). Sanderson plays the melodeon – diatonic button accordion through effects and amplified. What will happen – only one way to find out!

CHARLOTTE KEEFFE & DIEGO SAMPIERI
Duo of powerful, questing trumpeter Charlotte Keeffe, who pushes the trumpet (or Flugelhorn) into unusual directions with extended technique whilst always being in touch with a jazz sensibility, and Diego Sampieri an electric guitarist with an ear for unconventional melody and a collection of effects to extend the instrument heavenwards.
